Sail Halifax
Sail Halifax offers private sailing charters on Halifax Harbour aboard Play D’eau. Bookings reserve the boat for one group, with sailing shaped around the occasion and conditions. The operator describes harbour outings, sunset sails and special events, with onboard seating, an interior salon and a washroom. Confirm the boarding location and the arrangements that matter to your group before booking.
The experience
A private Sail Halifax outing puts the harbour at the centre of the day, whether the occasion is a gathering with friends, a celebration or simply time aboard a sailboat. The operator advertises crewed private experiences and says it sails under wind power when conditions allow. The vessel page describes cockpit seating, shade, an interior salon, a galley and an onboard washroom. These details can help a group discuss comfort needs before committing to a booking.
The FAQ allows guests to bring snacks and beverages and recommends layers and non-slip footwear. Ask about boarding access, children’s equipment and any individual requirements when enquiring. The operator publishes weather and cancellation policies; read the current version and request clarification about a shortened outing as well as a cancelled one. Confirm the actual departure dock, meeting time and contact procedure in the booking confirmation.
